About The Development
Rockefeller Group is completing construction of Sycamore Hills Distribution Center on 34.63 net acres in Riverside, Calif. The project includes two buildings totaling 603,100 square feet: Building A, a 400,000 square foot building, and Building B, a 203,100 square foot building. The project is in California’s Inland Empire East industrial submarket. The company worked closely with JPMorgan Chase to secure $87 million in construction financing. The buildings are for sale or lease.
As part of the development, Rockefeller Group also developed and then donate a 1-acre trailhead north of the property which will provide hiking and mountain biking access to Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park. Rockefeller Group worked closely with the city of Riverside on the project, which extends Barton Road to the new trailhead. The trailhead includes 52 parking stalls, a seating area, drinking fountain and bike repair stand and was gifted by Rockefeller Group to the city.
Bill Heim, Alex Heim, Michael Chavez, Mario Calvillo and Finn Comer of Lee & Associates – Ontario are overseeing leasing of the project. The buildings were designed by HPA Architects and engineered by Kimley-Horn. The general contractor is Fullmer Construction with construction project management services provided by ECM Management.
